Institute Library

The Library of the Institute for Literature and Arts possesses over 10,000 publications and about 500 various journals, many of which cannot be found in any other library in Serbia.

The structure of the library and its collections reflects the research fields of existing projects of the Institute for Literature and Arts in the field of literary science, aesthetics, art history, and cultural studies.

All publications are registered in the mutual electronic catalog COBISS.net, including many individual articles published in journals or collection editions. This establishes a branched connection of the existing library fund with external databases available via the Internet. You can access the local library database of the Institute for Literature and Arts here.

The library has free access to many electronic library services and data sources, and through KOBSON (Consortium for Unified Procurement of Serbia) the scientific community has access to electronic books and foreign scientific journals in full text, as well as some index databases.

The Library of the Institute for Literature and Arts represents an open and accessible database, with the aim of constant renewal and a mission to be useful not only to the associates of the Institute for Literature and Arts but to all researchers. In this sense, books and journals of the Institute for Literature and Arts library can also be used by scientific workers of related institutes and faculties from Serbia and abroad.
