Nedeljka (Perišić) Bjelanović, PhD

Nedeljka Perišic was born in 1984 in Sarajevo. She attended primary and secondary school in Višegrad and achieved her BA and MA at the Philological Faculty of the Belgrade University. The subject of her BA thesis is “The Narrators in Momcilo Nastasijevic’s Story Collection ‘Iz tamnog vilajeta’ (From the Dark Kingdom)”, and the subject of her MA thesis is “Types of the Fantastic in the Prose Work of Momcilo Nastasijevic“. She started her PhD studies in 2010 at the Philological Faculty of the Belgrade University, and is currently working on her PhD thesis “The Poetics of Momcilo Nastasijevic’s Prose”.

Since March 2011, she is employed at the Institute for Literature and Art as a research trainee, at the project “Change of Poetic Paradigms in Serbian Literature of the 20th century: National and European context “.

Speaks English fluently.
