Marija Šarović, PhD

Attended primary school from 1984 to 1992, and secondary economics school from 1992 to 1996, both in Belgrade.

Entered the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade in 1996. Graduated from the Department of Serbian Literature and Language with General Literature in 2003, having defended a graduation paper entitled “Breaking the Unity of Space, Time and Plot in Rastko Petrovic’s Work A Burlesque of Mr Perun God of Thunder”.

Entered postgraduate studies in 2004.

Recipient of the “Radmila Popovic” award for the best graduation paper within the framework of the subject 20th-century Serbian Literature for 2004.
